Adobe Lightroom Workflow

This course is directed at photographers with minimal knowledge of photo editing and Adobe Lightroom. Participants will be introduced to all modules of Lightroom with emphasis placed on creating & streamlining their own personal workflow for editing, exporting and printing. Participants will explore the importance of metadata and cover concepts such as organization, and reducing editing time, as well as tips and tricks for some creative editing.
Participants will be required to bring their own laptop/portable desktop, install a current working version of Lightroom (which can be downloaded from Adobe.com), and have a card reader and an external HD.

Digital Photography I
Explore the features and advantages of modern digital cameras, while learning the basic principles of photography. Learn how to control your camera and capture the images you have always imagined. No prior knowledge of photography is required to take this course. This program will lead you to a better understanding of exposure and basic camera features, light, colour and composition. Course will include a field trip to gain practical experience. Students will require a digital SLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.
